Have you ever felt lonely, sad, anxious, or desperate? Have you wanted to leave everything behind, run away from your problems, and seek freedom? If so, I invite you to keep reading because this message is for you.
Every day, between 1 and 7 children, ages 10 to 18, run away from their homes. Many of them end up in terrible situations: human trafficking, drugs, alcohol, and sadly, some even lose their lives. If you know someone in this situation or who is being abused, don’t hesitate to report it to local authorities.
One of the greatest fears of humanity is being rejected and facing failure. Sometimes failures lead us to give up, but the fact that you’ve failed doesn’t mean that God has forgotten about you, nor does it mean you can’t be successful. You are important to God; He loves you, and failures are a part of life. Instead of weakening us, they can strengthen our faith in God.
Failure can do two things in our lives:
- Restart us and give us the opportunity to begin again.
- Lead us to give up and throw in the towel.
All people who have achieved success have chosen the option to start again. Failure is painful, but it is part of our growth. Sometimes we fail because we become overconfident or don’t follow the right path. But remember you can’t change the past; you can only learn from it. The present is the moment we live in, and your future depends on how you make use of this moment.
- You learn from the past.
- The present is lived with wisdom.
- Your future depends on what you do with your present.
The enemy is an expert in reminding us of the past so that we don’t fully live in the present and lose sight of the future God has prepared for us. The Bible warns us: “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10).
Jesus, the Good Shepherd, gives His life for us, His sheep (John 10:11).

Prayer: Father, forgive me for having distanced myself from You. Today, I repent with all my heart and ask You to forgive me. I come back home and reconcile with You. Do in me what You’ve always desired. Wash me with Your blood, Jesus. Amen.

Today, I declare God’s love over your life. Everything the enemy has brought for your destruction turns into blessing in the name of Jesus. I declare that your best days begin now. Everything that was stolen from you is returned, and all sickness, because of sin, leaves your body. Receive courage to say no to sin, receive love and self-control that God gives you. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
